Franklin Community Voices

March 19 @ 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Franklin residents and community members are invited to join the Franklin Community Voices process to discuss assets, challenges, and ideas for their future. The first event will be Tuesday, March 19th from 4:30 to 8:30pm at the Franklin Town Hall, 5374 Main Street, with 4 different facilitated discussions, free dinner and childcare, and help with transportation if needed. Topics for discussion include: Lake Carmi; Building a Welcoming Community; Recreation & Community Events; and finally Economic Development: Workforce & Business. A listening team of federal, state, business, nonprofit and philanthropic leaders will join the forums to listen and support. The “Franklin Community Voices” Community Visit is a 3-part process that brings community members together to examine issues, decide top priorities, and develop action plans for the future of the town. Step 2 will be held Thursday, April 18th, and step 3 will be on Tuesday, May 14th.
