White Cane Safety Awareness Day – 61st Anniversary

The Vermont Division for the Blind & Visually Impaired invites you to celebrate the 61st anniversary of White Cane Safety Awareness Day on Wednesday, October 15th in Burlington.
The white cane is a symbol of strength and independence for blind and visually impaired people. To celebrate, we will gather at the Innovation Center at 128 Lakeside Ave. in Burlington to discuss the history and importance of the holiday, complete a community walk nearby, and enjoy refreshments provided by the Innovation Café.
