We’re ALZ in this Together: Effective Communication and Resources for the Dementia Journey

More than 13,000 Vermonters over the age of 65 are currently living with Alzheimer’s, a number that is projected to rise by more than 30%. Join us to explore how we can expand our ability to support members of our community who are living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Staff, interns and volunteers from the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will be present to:

· Share information on new treatments;

· Present a 30-minute education program focusing on how to effectively communicate with people living with dementia;

· Reveal the newly created Dementia Resource Guide;

· Provide updates on the Champlain Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s, taking place on Sept. 17th at the Shelburne Museum; and

· Answer your questions!
