BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont health officials say in five years, one in three Vermonters will be over the age of 60. Now, they’re outlining how to address the needs of older Vermonters, the state’s fastest-growing demographic.

The Age Strong Vermont 10-year action plan was launched a year ago and is a road map to address the concerns and needs of people aging in the state.

Katharine Huntley spoke with the Department of Health’s Rhonda Williams about how the effort is going.
