Age Well Announces New Website!

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new website! Our website has been redesigned and updated with a modern look and feel, including improved navigation and user experience. We’ve added new features that make it easier to access information quickly, and have made great strides towards ensuring that our new website is WCAG 2.1 AA Conforming to meet ADA Compliance Requirements. We are excited to share this new website with you and hope that it will improve your overall experience as you explore our content.

Some Features of Our New Website

Improved Navigation

With our new website, improving the navigation for all users was one of our top priorities. We have added new features designed to help you find what you’re looking for quickly and easily. We now offer a clear breakdown of our services via our main menu, and have designated pages with resources for older adults, caregivers, and healthcare providers. You can also easily search for specific content topics, view related resources, and better access helpful links for further information on a given subject.

Events Calendar

We have also included a new events calendar on our new website, which provides an overview of upcoming trainings and classes for older adults and caregivers. This new feature allows users to easily review the full schedule of activities, including dates and times for each event, as well as access registration information and directions when needed. It’s also easily searchable and filterable by categories, making it easier for users to find information faster.

Website Accessibility

Another one of the most important goals of our redesign was website accessibility, as we are dedicated to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all of our users. As such, we have ensured that our new website meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA Conformance Requirements. This means that all content, both in written and media formats, has been designed and developed with accessibility in mind, giving all users equal access to our online resources. We’ve accomplished this with the help of the teams at Bytes.co and Accessible Web, and through the use of automated scanner technology, screenreader and assistive technology UX testing, and manual template reviews.

We hope that you enjoy the new website experience! We are excited to offer new features and improved navigation, as well as a more accessible platform for all users. If you have any questions or feedback, please let us know! We value your input and are committed to continually improving our services. Thank you for your support!
